2024: Product Announcement

In January 2024, Generium received a registration certificate for the first domestic Screenspot microplate analyzer, designed for automated reading and analysis of tuberculosis test results in clinical diagnostic laboratories.

The device is based on the ELISPOT (Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSpot) method, used to quantify cells that secrete certain products under the influence of a specific activating agent, including cytokines, immunoglobulins and other target proteins.

ELISPOT blood test for tuberculosis demonstrates the independence of the results from the level of immunity and the presence of BCG vaccination. This method, which is the basis for the TigraTest® TV reagent kit manufactured by Generium, has proven advantages over alternative tests in the diagnosis of patients with immunodeficiency diseases.

Dmitry Kudlai, Vice President of Generium JSC, noted that the software and hardware complex and reagents are a completely Russian development, which ensures the independence of the production and operation of the analyzer from foreign factors.

The development of the device was carried out by specialists of Troitsky Engineering Center LLC with scientific support from Generium JSC. The tests confirmed the analyzer's ability to automatically count the number of spots using specialized software, which greatly speeds up data processing and minimizes the likelihood of human factor errors.

The production capabilities of the Trinity Engineering Center allow the production of up to 300 pieces of equipment per year. The analyzer is also applicable for immunological diagnosis of cytomegalovirus, encephalitis and borreliosis. The ministry health care Russia included tests based on the ELISPOT method in clinical guidelines.[1]
