2025: Appointment to the position of Deputy Governor for Digital Development of the Vologda Oblast
On January 15, 2025, the Governor of the Vologda Oblast Georgy Filimonov announced the appointment of his new deputy for digital development. It becomes Alexander Burykin, General Director of the Vologda IT company "Abit."
Burykin graduated from Vologda State University with a degree in software engineer and for 11 years led various projects for the development of security systems and crypto protection. In 2024, he became the winner of the Leaders of Russia competition.
Alexander Borisovich is a very famous figure, intellectual, bright leader. I ask for attention: the winner of the federal competition "Leaders of Russia," our Vologda resident, which is very important, and a specialist in the field of information technology, - notes Filimonov. |
As deputy governor of the Vologda region, Burykin, among other things, will solve the problems of improving digital maturity and increasing the level of digital literacy of the region and its residents. In addition, he will have to oversee a project to develop an application that will become an analogue of the Moscow Dobrodel (with its help, municipal, state and medical departments provide services to residents of the Moscow region).
The company "Abit" headed by Burykin developed and brought to the market software for machine tools with numerical software control. This software allows you to reduce time and material costs in the production of metal parts. The solution helps to minimize the operator's participation in the operation of the machine in an industrial enterprise by synchronizing product design data with the software of the machine itself. In addition, "Abit" helps in the transfer of production to domestic software for milling, plasma, laser machines with CNC of various manufacturers.[1]
