Gorky Automobile Plant completed the third stage of the digital project to create a domestic PLM platform for product lifecycle management and production processes under a grant from the Russian Information Technology Development Fund in the amount of ₽379,7 million. This became known on January 16, 2025.
According to CNews, the project is being implemented jointly with Russian IT companies Top Systems JSC and Zyfra Group of Companies as part of the New Industrial Software roadmap approved by the government commission.
The company has created a PLM competence center with a team of 25 specialists, including the system architect, business analysts and developers. Students of technical universities of Nizhny Novgorod, studying at the factory "Academy of IT," were also involved in the project.
Elena Smirnova, director of the Center for IT Solutions for Business, notes that the introduction of domestic solutions will reduce the time for developing new products and increase the efficiency of using equipment. The new Sable NN model has already been integrated into the system, production of which began in 2024.
As part of the project, 190 pieces of equipment are connected to the online monitoring system. Mikhail Aronson, General Director of Zyfra Group, emphasizes that about 1000 employees of the enterprise use the system daily, and the number of digitized technological operations exceeds 10 thousand.
The Development Director of JSC Top Systems"" Konstantin Golovkin announces a significant improvement of the tools of the T-FLEX PLM complex for the tasks of the automotive industry, including technological preparation of production and visual presentation of the catalog of components.
By June 2025, it is planned to complete the digitalization of auto-component production processes, including metal casting, plastics, forging and sheet stamping. The created PLM platform will be an alternative to Western solutions for domestic automotive enterprises.[1]
