Kontur.ID is a service that provides two-factor authentication and access control to corporate resources. It is part of the Kontur suite of products to ensure internal information security.

2025: Release of the on-prem solution

SKB Kontur on April 10, 2025 launched the on-prem-solution of the two-factor authentication service Kontur.ID.

On-Anticipate (On-Prem) is a way to host software on your organization's own servers. On-Premium solution now has Kontur.ID - it allows the organization to maintain control over data and security. On-Anticipate Kontur.ID are deployed on the internal network of the organization.

The technician installs the Kontur.ID, which includes the server, necessary components and resources. All user information and OTP tokens that are used to generate one-time passwords are stored within the corporate network. The solution is offered in two versions: a version with support for push notifications for convenient authentication and a completely isolated version of On-Anticipate.

The first version is suitable for confirming two-factor authentication through push, call or registration of employees using SMS or e-mail. To send a push notification, SMS, email or make a call to an employee's mobile device, you need to contact an external service. To do this, the On-Anticipate version of the Kontur.ID interacts with the Contour cloud. Kontur.ID over a secure connection - HTTPS. In this case, only the user's device ID is sent to the cloud. Optionally, depending on the settings, an email address or phone number may be sent, but this is not mandatory.

The second is suitable for confirming two-factor authentication through sending a one-time password and an invitation that is generated using a link. Confirmation takes place using TOTP codes - a special mechanism that allows you to generate a temporary code for two-factor authentication right in the user's phone, without access to. Internet The code is valid for 30 seconds. Everything data is stored inside the organization's network and never leaves it. To generate TOTP codes, the Kontur mobile application is used. 2024: Inclusion in the register of domestic software

Kontur.ID entered the register of domestic software under the registry entry No. 2597. SKB Kontur announced this on January 16, 2025.

The corresponding decision was made by the expert council on software Ministry of Digital Development the Russian Federation at the end of 2024.
