2025: Game developer Lesta Games bought "Renaissance Truth"
The Lesta Games Group of Companies, the largest developer of computer games in Russia, has completed the acquisition of the Renaissance Pravda business center with an area of 28.1 thousand square meters in the Central District of St. Petersburg. This became known on January 20, 2025.
According to Cre.ru, the eight-story building located on the Hersonskaya Street, 12 is an object of cultural heritage with a hundred-year history. Previously, it housed the publishing house and printing house of the Leningrad branch of the Pravda newspaper.
Partner, Managing Director of NF PM Dmitry Atopshev noted that the acquisition of a business center with a successful location in the city center will be a big step in the development of the Lesta Games group of companies.
After reconstruction in 2012, the building is equipped with office space with decoration, modern engineering equipment and underground parking for 163 parking spaces. The object is within walking distance from the metro station "Alexander Nevsky Square."
Legal support of the transaction and technical audit of the business center was carried out by NF Property Management, which carried out structuring and full legal support of the process of selling the building.
GC "Lesta Games," founded in St. Petersburg in 1991, is known for such projects as "World of Ships," "World of Tanks" and Tanks Blitz. The company continues to actively develop in the Russian computer games market.
The acquisition of a historic building in the center of St. Petersburg demonstrates the expansion of the presence of technology companies in the city's commercial real estate market. Such transactions contribute to the preservation and development of cultural heritage sites. The growing interest of IT companies in acquiring office space in the historical center of St. Petersburg may lead to the formation of new business clusters in the city.[1]
