2025: Pikalevskaya Soda was bought by Gorlovskoye LLC
Glass manufacturer Pikalevskaya Soda has bought a large quartz sand deposit in the Lipetsk region and is investing 1.5 billion rubles in its development. This deal became known in January 2025.
As part of the agreement, Pikalevskaya Soda was acquired by Gorlovskoye LLC, created to develop the quartz sand deposit of the same name, the reserves of which are estimated at 50 million tons. The estimated development period of the field is about 100 years.[1]
