2025: Construction Planning
In the second quarter of 2026, Interros will begin construction of a hotel complex and the main ski area of the Turyev Khutor resort in Sochi. This became known on January 21, 2025 from the press service of the company.
According to RBC, the project is being implemented with the support of the Туризм.РФ corporation within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry." In February 2024, the general director of Туризм.РФ, Sergei Sukhanov, announced the completion of the preparation of a master plan for the new resort.
On the territory of the complex it is planned to build four hotels of various categories - from three to five stars, with a total number of 700 rooms. The skating zone will be located at altitudes from 1.3 thousand to 2.3 thousand meters above sea level, the total length of the tracks will be about 50 kilometers.
The project of the resort "Turyev Khutor" was initiated in 2021 after the signing of an agreement between the state corporation for the development of ВЭБ.РФ, the companies "Interros" and "Vasta Discovery." Earlier, Interros implemented a project to create the Rosa Khutor resort in the Sochi mountain cluster.
In the lower part of the ski area, an artificial snowmaking system is provided to ensure the stable functioning of the resort. The pre-project phase of construction has already been completed, design and survey work is underway on hotel and recreational facilities, cable roads and ski infrastructure facilities.
The project of the first cable car, the construction of which is scheduled for 2025, successfully passed the state examination, - said Sergey Sukhanov. |
The project aims to increase tourist flow and create new opportunities for outdoor activities in the region.
According to the Туризм.РФ corporation, the implementation of the project will create a modern ski resort that meets international quality and safety standards. The facility will become part of Sochi's developing tourism infrastructure.[1]
