January 21, 2025 IT- the company) CUSTIS ("Castis" announced that it has implemented for the company "," Sportmaster one of the largest, sports retailers a project for managing schedules in, to logistics providing optimization of the speed, efficiency and convenience of delivery of goods and orders of buyers.

Sportmaster accelerated delivery of orders on complex routes by 20% thanks to the implementation of the Custis solution

As reported, CUSTIS has been one of Sportmaster's technology partners for more than 20 years and participates in projects to develop and automate key business processes of the retail business and the company's IT landscape, as well as ensure the operation of supply chains.

Within the framework of this project, the CUSTIS team has developed and implemented a product for managing flight schedules for the movement of transport funds, the availability of logistics hubs and other logistics operations for Sportmaster, which as of January 2025 has more than 1,500 stores in five countries of the world and more than 80 thousand available partner points for issuing orders.

The project made it possible to optimize the delivery of orders on complex routes up to 20% and reduce logistics costs. This was a timely response to the retailer's request to increase the number of supply chain options in the company's supply chain management system. The implementation of the project not only optimized the efficiency of their use, but also provided the necessary resources to successfully expand and scale the company's business.

In addition to the task of improving efficiency, this solution became necessary, since the functionality of the previous schedule system, which was successfully used in the company for about 15 years, did not fully take into account the growth of delivery methods and processing technologies, as well as the increase in the number of courier companies and sets of services in the logistics market in recent years. In particular, the implementation of this system allows you to create individual schedules for each customer order processing technology. The main possibility of schedule automation algorithms for Sportmaster was the ability to track orders for replenishment of stores and warehouses at any stage of execution, which ensured higher transparency of processes. It also allowed supply chain specialists to monitor the use of resources and limitations of logistics operations in real time, promptly responding to deviations.

This system includes intelligent adjustment of schedules for various types of orders and processing technologies, which takes into account the peculiarities of logistics operations and optimizes the speed of commodity movement. The process of planning the distribution of logistics resources and delivery dates allows you to accurately predict the time of delivery of goods and customer orders to stores and delivery points, excluding downtime.

The CUSTIS solution provides optimized support for Ship-to-Store technology for delivering orders formed in digital channels directly to stores, bypassing intermediate warehouses, which in turn increases the efficiency of using stores as points of issue of orders. Sportmaster retail stores are now integrated into the overall logistics resource planning scheme, making them not only points of sale, but also important elements of the logistics network. The delivery points of various courier companies are also connected to the schedule system.
