In 2011 the Tomsk power supply company will install 100 thousand metering devices of the electric power. More than 100 million rubles will be directed to these purposes. It is supposed that it will allow to charge a payment for all-house needs more objectively.

This news was reported on January 24 by Andrey Buzdalkin, the CEO of "The Tomsk power supply company". According to him, installation of metering devices will remove a problem of unfair charge of a payment for all-house needs (OND). He also specified that at a half of subscribers of power supply company it is necessary to replace or install metering devices. Thus, new counters will receive 82 thousand from 160 thousand subscribers.

The amount of 100 million rubles necessary for purchase of counters will be partially attracted from the profit of "The Tomsk power supply company". The rest of money is going to be taken on credit. The investment component in a rate for the electric power will be a source of return of means.

According to the program of energy saving developed by the authorities of the Tomsk region by 2020 power consumption indicators in the Tomsk region will be reduced to 40% in comparison with 2007.
