2025: Standard Approval
On January 22, 2025, Rosstandart announced the approval of a number of new standards for smart production. The adopted documents define unified approaches to the key elements of building intelligent production at the basic level and include a description of the unified model, requirements for creating and operating interfaces, etc.
In particular, the preliminary national standard (PNST) 992-2024 "Smart Production. Unified model for smart manufacturing. " It defines a unified model for intelligent manufacturing, and also sets criteria for the creation of model models as specializations that support smart manufacturing. Terminology and structure contain a set of common modeling elements, their associations, and compliance criteria.
Another adopted standard is PNST 993-2024 "Smart Production. Interfaces for automated maintenance of process equipment. Part 2. Control and Security Interfaces. " This document describes the interface requirements for automated maintenance of process equipment. In addition, PNST 994-2024 "Smart Production. Hardware behavior catalogs for the virtual manufacturing system. Part 3. Hardware Model Guide. " This standard defines recommendations for building a model using a catalog of equipment behavior.
All documents are part of the updated prospective standardization plan in the field of advanced production technologies for 2025-2030, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade together with Rosstandart. This plan involves the development of the most demanded standards in the field of intelligent production, digital factories and digital twins, cyberphysical systems, the industrial Internet of Things and other advanced production technologies.[1]
