2025: Investment Fund Altera Capital bought Seltec

The Alter Capital investment fund, controlled by Kirill Androsov, acquired a 45% stake in the anti-aging cosmetics manufacturer Seltek. The deal was fixed in early January 2025, when the rest of the business co-owners partially lost their shares.

According to Kommersant, after a deal of 18.3% each, the company is controlled by Tatyana Syanova, Rafael Artyushev and Vasily Kudinov. Representatives of Alter Capital confirmed the acquisition of the stake, specifying that the funds will be used to develop and launch new products.

Seltek LLC, founded in 2022, specializes in the production of anti-aging agents under the Biocellium and Solutosome brands using stem cell technology. Lyaglia Sadykova, President of the Association of Beauty Enterprises and Professionals, noted that the Biocellium brand is not widely known in the beauty salon industry.

Pyotr Bobrovsky, executive director of the Association of Manufacturers of Perfumes, Cosmetics, Household Chemicals and Hygiene, explained that the market is characterized by high competition between Russian and foreign manufacturers, including Korean ones.

Kirill Androsov, who owns a 95% stake in Alter Capital LLC, previously served as Deputy Minister of Economy in 2005-2008, worked in the government apparatus of the Russian Federation in 2008-2010 and headed the board of directors of Aeroflot in 2012-2017. The Alter Capital Fund, created in 2010, invests in technological and construction projects, being a co-owner of the developer AB Development.

Viktor Sayapin, manager of transaction support practice at the NEO consulting company, pointed out that companies with a narrow specialization and a clear development strategy, mainly startups, are the most attractive for investors.[1]
