Nubes completed the project on the migration of internal IT and business systems - INFORMATION SECURITY integrator iTPROTECT in. cloud NGCloud The goal of the project was to move the infrastructure of the integrator from foreign to domestic. iTPROTECT cloud announced this on January 24, 2025.

The transition from one cloud to another was carried out in a short time, since the long suspension of work services during migration could affect business processes. When looking for a cloud provider, it was important for the information security integrator not only to maintain the general level of security of internal systems at a high level, but also to ensure the ability to quickly scale resources to meet current tasks that require an increase in capacity.

When choosing a cloud provider, we took into account several factors, first of all, this is the reliability of the data center, in the case of cloud services of the same ecosystem providers, there are slightly more risks than a specialized cloud vendor. In the case of Nubes, we were able to verify the reliability of the provider's data center infrastructure by "groping" the place where our systems and data will potentially be located. Also, an important role in choosing a partner was played by the factor of a high level of technical support, this is interaction with the working team during the migration itself to the cloud, and the subsequent operational reaction to emerging issues from our side, - said Maxim Golovlev, Managing Director of iTPROTECT.

Nubes NGcloud is located in the Tier III class data center with an availability level of 99.99% and is certified in accordance with the Federal Law "On Personal Data," also contains built-in security tools, including for protection against DDoS attacks L3/L4 and scanning IP addresses.

In total, during the migration process, the project transferred 10 business and IT systems: CRM, mail service, backup system, domain, including information security systems (SIEM and others). The systems are deployed on dozens of virtual machines; according to the product, capacity expansion is planned in the second half of 2025.

To ensure fault tolerance and high availability of services, the mail cluster operates, BPM system mirroring and geo-diversity clustering are used.

The preparatory work for migrating systems to the NGcloud cloud was to configure a secure environment for data transfer, as well as provide a secure connection between the two sites. The implementation of the migration itself took a little more than a week - this is copying virtual machines, launching and fixing shortcomings.
