2024: Launch of the B2B portal

On January 28, 2025, RDV Automation announced the implementation of a project to develop and launch a B2B portal for the Russian alcohol company Novabev Group.

Novabev Group produces Beluga, Belenkaya, Arkhangelskaya, Orthodox, Golden Reserve cognac, Fox & Dogs whiskey, Green Baboon gin and other alcoholic beverages.

In cooperation with the project team of the RDV and BrainD alliance, a B2B portal was developed and launched to automate the management of sales and business sales processes, and ensure direct distribution of goods to outlets at the federal level.

The key criteria for selecting a project contractor were a high level of expertise in the development of complex projects using microservice architecture, experience in consulting and analytical practice.

The team demonstrated their high expertise, interest in the project, showed the ability to hear our wishes, showed attention to detail, worked out a roadmap and architecture for deploying the system to 10,000 outlets at the federal level. During the project, business, functional and non-functional requirements were described, user documentation was prepared, the Novabev Group said in a response to the implemented project.

The development of the MVP system was carried out by the 18-person project team in a short time according to the plan and took 5 months.

During the implementation of the B2B portal project, all the features and requirements of the business were taken into account, including:

  • the complex IT landscape on the Novabev Group side;
  • complex pricing system with regard to trade-marketing actions;
  • the need to store and display a catalog of goods, balances, prices and shares in the context of trading houses,
  • the need for bilateral exchange of orders, keeping on the portal of accounting for changes in the composition and value of the order made in the Novabev Group accounting systems;
  • the need to take into account the available credit limit and receivables when placing an order, taking into account the relevance of the alcohol license at the ordering outlet;
  • availability of marketing tools on the portal, including recommendation shelves, promotion pages, badges for goods and the like;
  • the need to promptly notify customers of important events through push notifications;
  • readiness of the portal for high loads in accordance with the scaling plan for retail outlets.

After the launch, a development and implementation plan was worked out in detail, and in the process of connecting new outlets to the portal, a project support team was formed.
