2025: AppSec Platform Introduction
Axel PRO introduces Sherlock, an AppSec platform for managing information security defects in software. The company announced this on January 29, 2025.
Sherlock collects data from different scanners, including solution classes such as SAST, SCA and Image Scan, providing a single point of control and control. This allows you to significantly reduce the time required to process information security defects and assess the safety of software.
Sherlock creates a single workspace that presents a complete software security context - from a list of information security defects to specific tasks in Jira. Thus, the platform solves the problems with which AppSec specialists are most often found.
The development of safe software is gaining momentum in the Russian market: many companies plan to develop the direction and have already implemented or are implementing static and compositional analysis. The need for tools that will consolidate data from different scanners and allow building a single information security defect management process is increasing, so we have created the Sherlock platform. Our goal is to help companies implement the process of developing secure software as easily, conveniently and efficiently as possible, "said Anton Gavrilov, owner of the Sherlock product. |
Sherlock is a solution suitable for any organizations: both those who have already implemented some secure development practices and those who are only planning to implement them.
The platform allows you to manage scans, normalizes and deduplicates the analysis results, marks information security defects, makes it possible to set and control the execution of tasks for elimination and analyze efficiency using analytical panels and dashboards. Thus, Sherlock effectively copes with the difficulties associated with an abundance of scanners, a variety of data formats, time-consuming markup and prioritization problems.
