Cisco 2935

Product
Developers: Cisco Systems
Last Release Date: January, 2011
Technology: Video surveillance systems

The new outdoor Cisco 2935 video camera is equipped with a 35-fold zoom lens, the protection aluminum cover with heat/moisture protection of class IP66 and a high-speed rotating device which provides panning on 360 ° and an inclination from +2 ° to -92 °C with a guidance accuracy of ±0.1 °. This rotary video camera uses a CCD matrix of EXview HAD of the brand of Sony about WDR 128x and the switched-off IK-filter for work in the day/night modes. It can transfer one or two flows of video with permission of D1 at 25 fps in the H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG formats, has audio an input and output and function of electronic stabilization of the image. For setup and management of the video camera on network it is recommended to use software of Cisco Video Surveillance Manager.

Capability transfer both analog, and digital video signal distinguishes new rotary cameras from many analogs. As a detector Cisco 2935 uses a 1/4-inch CCD matrix of Sony EXview HAD with a possibility of the choice of interlaced or non-interlaced scan therefore it can broadcast the analog image with the resolution of 540 TVL or 1/2 flows of a digital video with the resolution up to 704х576 px. and frame rate up to 25 fps in the H.264, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG formats. Besides, each rotary video camera of a series is equipped with the switched-off IK-filter and is capable to transfer color/monochrome video at the minimum osveshchennost of 0.015/0.00015 lx and also supports the LowLight function for compensation of insufficient illumination of a scene of observation.

It is possible perform tuning of operating parameters of the new video camera and its subsequent administration locally or far off with the PC via the Internet Explorer 8.0 web browser or means of a specialized software. Each rotary video camera 2935 of a series has built in by software with an open architecture, is compatible to the Cisco Video Surveillance Manager (VMS) system and the software of such producers as Lenel, Pelco, Milestone, etc. For management of a turning gear of Cisco 2935 support protocols of telemetry Coaxitron, Pelco D and Pelco P.

Cisco 2935 optimum is suitable for video surveillance on objects, big on the area, and allows to replace several motionless video cameras as uses a high-speed rotating device with a range of corners of a turn/inclination to 360 °/+2º —-92º and with a positioning accuracy of ±0.1 °. For permanent video monitoring of an object the rotary video camera provides programming to 256 preset and 8 rounds of autopatrol. Upon transition on presets the speed of panning of the video camera can reach 400 ° / with, and an inclination – 200 ° / with whereas in the manual mode of management these indicators are 80 ° / with and 40 ° / with, respectively.

The powerful 35-fold zoom lens with autofocusing which equips new Cisco video cameras allows to perform video surveillance behind remote objects. Range of focal distances of a zoom lens is 3.4 - 119 mm, and the viewing angle varies from 55.8º to 1.7º. At the same time optical increase can be complemented with a 12-fold digital zoom at the expense of what the rotary video camera provides the general increase to 420-krat. Moreover, this rotary model has high dynamic range h128 and a ratio "signal noise" 50 dB thanks to which it creates more detailed image of objects in the mode of digital image magnification.

Unlike many outdoor video cameras, Cisco 2935 can work with broader range of external temperatures from -51 ° up to +60 °C and supports function of electronic stabilization of the image which compensates "trembling" of video at the vibrations of the body caused, for example, by wind gusts or the passing motor transport. Besides, this rotary video camera is equipped with an audio-input and output for connection of the external microphone and the loudspeaker, and allows to organize bidirectional audio communication with object of video surveillance in the mode to a floor - or a full duplex, using the G.711 codec for compression of a sound.
