The Oriflame updates ERP and automates payroll

Epicor Software Corporation announced project completion on migration on the new version of the iScala system and to implementing solution for payroll of Advanced Payroll in Oriflame company. During the iScala ERP system project which is used more than 10 years by the company for payroll calculation and financial accounting it was updated to version 2.3 of SR2 – the most modern iScala platform today. Besides, was the solution for payroll of Advanced Payroll is implemented and integration into the personnel management module is configured.

Thanks to transition to the new version of iScala the Oriflame company had additional opportunities for storage and processing of large volumes of data, system scaling options were improved, functions of corporate management and security are improved, there were new effective tools for visualization and control of activity of the enterprise.

During implementation of Advanced Payroll settlement process of the salary was ordered and automated. The accountants who are in Moscow perform payroll for 14 companies across all Russia. Users of regions have an opportunity to receive the reporting directly from a system. For convenience of payroll the solution for import of holidays and sick-lists from the HR system in Advanced Payroll was implemented. Also reports of RSV-1 and 4 Social Insurance Funds for the main company and regions using Crystal Reports were created. Besides, in a system reconfiguration of types of salaries taking into account changes in the legislation in 2010 was made. Pay-sheets were translated from the DDF format in the Excel format that facilitated work of users and minimized time expenditure. Results of calculation for salary and statistic reports can be printed directly from the menu of Calculation now.

There was a possibility of mass registration of Types of Salaries through Excel and also a convenient possibility of import of data on employees to a system (salaries, hour rates and other attributes).

Upon completion of joint testing with specialists of Epicor within 3 months the new functionality was put in commercial operation.
