2024: Information Security Market Growth to $25 Million
Russia Kyrgyzstan On January 30, 2025, the digital attaché at the trade office in Robert Wildanov said that the market volume cyber security of Kyrgyzstan in 2024 amounted to $25 million, of which 60% falls on digital solutions and software products, and 40% - on related services.
According to ComNews, by 2029 the market volume is expected to grow to $37.5 million. In 2024, a threefold increase in the number of attacks on the state resources of the republic was recorded.
Kyrgyzstan ranks second among the CIS countries in the number of attacks on government agencies and third in attacks on the telecommunications sector. The republic is mentioned in 22% of cybersecurity-related ads.
The country has a cybersecurity law and a Security Coordination Center under the National Security Committee, which is the sole auditor of critical infrastructure.
Alexey Khmelnitsky, General Director of Ruks Solutions LLC, noted that Russian developers have good prospects in the international market, especially in the access control segment, where domestic products are competitive outside the United States and Western Europe.
According to specialized associations of the information technology market, the share of exports of domestic software to friendly countries can grow from 10% to 70% within two to three years.
To enter the Kyrgyz market, Russian companies can use various strategies: work through distributors, partnership with system integrators, opening a representative office or creating a joint venture with local partners.
Special conditions for IT manufacturers are provided by the High Technology Park of Kyrgyzstan, where residents receive zero rates of VAT and other taxes, subject to an annual contribution of 1% of revenue.[1]
