2025: Product Announcement

In February 2025, the HemoTech AI device was announced, developed Sechenov University in and capable of determining indicators diabetes mellitus with an error of less than 8% without invasive intervention. The project received ₽35 million investments from a startup studio. Kazan Federal University

Experts note that the technology can greatly simplify monitoring the condition of patients with diabetes. According to TASS, the development is based on Raman spectroscopy technology and special machine learning algorithms, which allows you to measure a wide range of blood parameters in a non-contact way.

HemoTech AI device was released in Russia to detect diabetes without puncture of fingers and reagents

The developer of the project, a student at Sechenov University, Ekaterina Poliker, notes that the device is able to determine the level of glycated hemoglobin and glucose in 30 seconds without using consumables and sample preparation.

The technology has the potential to be applied not only in diabetology, but also in other areas of medical diagnosis. The device allows you to significantly optimize the blood test process in medical institutions, eliminating the need for finger puncture and the use of reagents.

The project was twice ranked in the top 50 startups of the University Technology Enterprise Platform, and in 2024 was recognized as one of the ten best university startups of the year.

For 2025, the development team planned to conduct a multicenter clinical study, obtain a marketing authorization Roszdravnadzor for and pilot implementation of the device in medical institutions of the Department. health care Moscow

The development is being implemented within the framework of the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform, launched by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia in 2022. The program is aimed at developing high-tech startups and training specialists in the field of technological entrepreneurship.[1]
