In the Ministry of the industry, communication and information technologies of the republic Northern Ossetia-Alania (The ministry of the industry of PCO-A) started system implementation of electronic document management (EDMS) Euphrates.
About the Solution
At accomplishment of the duties the staff of the Ministry of the industry of PCO-A creates and processes a large number of different documents: a citizens' appeal and the organizations, analytical and statistic reports, regulations, etc. therefore for increase in efficiency of activity of the ministry its management made the decision to implement EDMS. After studying of several automation systems of document flow, specialists of the ministry selected EDMS "Euphrates". The developed functionality of a system, ample opportunities on its adaptation and setup became the pacing factors which defined this solution.
Plans and expectations
Now the staff of the ministry operates EDMS "Euphrates" in the test mode. It is planned that after input of a system in commercial operation with its help all document flow of the ministry, including approval of documents, issue of orders, drawing up reports and registration of the entering and outgoing correspondence will be automated.
As expected, it will allow to simplify accomplishment of regulations of creation and document handling and also considerably will increase the level of performing discipline of employees. It is supposed that as a result of project implementation time spent for approval of documents should be reduced by two-three times.
Implementation
For project implementation the license for simultaneous operation with EDMS more than two tens users is purchased. System implementation is executed by specialists of the ministry.
