IBM Cognos BI in World Trade Center

Management of the World Trade Center (WTC) in 3 months received the convenient management tool efficiency of the company - CROC completed the project on automation of process of reporting of TsMT in the IBM Cognos BI system.

"In activity of any large organization formation of the various reporting for internal and external users is inevitable. And if these processes are not automated, then the high labor input, low formalization, insufficient efficiency and unauthenticity of the provided reporting information are characteristic of them. This project allowed us to minimize these risks, it is more time to give to analysis and to increase efficiency of TsMT", - Sergey Lauga, the Head of Department of economy and planning of World Trade Center commented.

"Now we can automatically prepare the reporting on the basis of revenues of expenses yielded a consolidated budget with detailing up to operating budgets and their analytics. Knowing the implemented model of planning and the reporting, I am sure that further specialists of TsMT will be able independently to develop a system and to develop the reports necessary for business management" - Muzykantova Natalya Vladimirovna, the deputy manager of department of economy and planning of World Trade Center noted.

Now each its business user, depending on the indicators selected by him, independently creates the report necessary for it with a required depth of detailing without dependence on IT specialists. And it profitable distinguishes our solution of most of attendees at the market", - Nikulin Igor, the director of the department of information technologies of CROC company reported.

Specialists of CROC developed and implemented the model of planning and reporting allowing to visualize information on data of the income and expenditure budget, to detail indicators of these budgets, to carry out the analysis of the amounts of the approved budget in the IBM Cognos system. Users of the reporting can independently in the set framework to configure external submission of the report taking into account business requirements and access rights and to save the generated reports for the subsequent use. At the same time all consumers of the reporting work with the uniform version of data.
