EuroChem is introducing artificial intelligence into business processes and production. The Digital Assistant, EuroChem's own IT team, has become an urgent project in the AI implementation program. The company announced this on February 12, 2025. The Large Language Models (LLM) system facilitates customization and improves employee efficiency by quickly answering questions and simplifying routine operations.

Based on EuroChem's digitalization strategy, a program has been launched in which the company introduces digital solutions, including artificial intelligence (AI), into its processes.

The company develops digital projects for the chemical industry, actively uses AI both at production facilities and in internal processes, increasing operational efficiency and improving the quality of services.

The effect of the introduction of digital products for 2023-2024. amounted to more than 2 billion rubles, 90% (1.8 billion rubles) of which is associated precisely with artificial intelligence.

Artificial intelligence modules allow you to automate the use of human experience and knowledge. The need for such automation is great, because every day in a large company there are many routine and repetitive tasks, for example, answers to the same questions. It becomes expensive to manually maintain such processes, and the speed of processes decreases.

To solve this problem, EuroChem's IT team is working on GPT assistants for human resources, procurement, repair security and other departments.

For example, in 2024, a digital assistant for adapting and supporting employees was developed at the Usolsky potash plant. The system is based on an internal document-trained large language model based on the Qwen 2.8 model (open source model). The model is capable of very accurate (accuracy above 96%) and promptly answer employee questions and is potentially capable of developing to individual personal assistants for each employee.

The expansion of the functionality of the solution made it possible to adapt data processing algorithms, preserve the history and context of dialogs, as well as provide a "lively" communication style. The GPT assistant not only reduces the waiting time for a response, but also significantly reduces the burden on specialists who previously had to manually disassemble repeated cases.

Further, it is planned to integrate the digital assistant with RITM, the company's internal portal, which will provide prompt access to up-to-date corporate information without accessing the Internet and guarantee a high level of data security.

The successful implementation of the pilot project demonstrates the high potential for developing the tool and scaling it to other functions.

Technology in itself is not a guarantee of success, it must be embedded in the business strategy of the company. The creation and implementation of digitalization programs, including on AI, are based on a comprehensive approach. First, analytical research is carried out, then the digital potential of the function is assessed, then a digitalization program is developed and launched. Artificial intelligence in EuroChem is a powerful driver of the transformation of production and corporate processes. AI solutions are already helping the company's employees work more efficiently today, and the IT team continues to look for new ways to use them. In addition to its own developments, IT specialists are actively monitoring trends. Now, for example, they are testing the DeepSeek neural network, deploying it on the company's internal resources in order to maintain data privacy. Soon they plan to introduce this model into the company's GPT assistants, "said Valery Cherepanov, Deputy Director for Digitalization at EuroChem.
