Thermovision
Thermovision means use of cameras with special sensors which "see" the temperature radiation of an object. It is a part of an electromagnetic range which we perceive as warmly. Thermal (or infrared) radiation is inherently similar to light which is invisible to a human eye. Wavelength of such radiation is too big in order that to see it. The infrared camera allows us to see what the person is not capable to see.
Thermal imagers issue images of invisible infrared radiation. On the basis of a difference of temperatures of objects the thermal imaging camera creates the sharp image. It is the excellent tool for non-destructive testing, an energy audit of buildings, scientific research, developmental developments and automation.
This device has capability of vision in complete darkness, at the most dark night, in fog, at a great distance, in smoke. It is also used for protection and observation, in sea navigation, for night driving, in fire-prevention and many other purposes.
