Aperture Capacity Manager allows to manage data processing centers, to receive and control significant information on the current and forthcoming use of resources of data processing centers. It guarantees that the data processing center will provide economic support of true and future business needs.
Aperture Capacity Manager provides the reporting and technology process for the ideal level of management and control over a data processing center. Opportunities of creation of reports are given to IT management and personnel by understanding of a current status and consumption trends of power on each infrastructure of a data processing center which is in a repository of Aperture Capacity Manager.
System management of supply of the project provides understanding: when and in what conditions infrastructure will be used that allows to perform budgeting of resources of a data processing center.
Use of Aperture Capacity Manager will allow the organization:
- Predict use by applications of infrastructure of DPC for prediction of levels of consumption of resources of a data processing center
- Define when resources of a data processing center reach a limit
- Understand future trends on the basis of the previous use and announce key indicators of capacity
- Minimize the risks connected with shutdown or failure in work
- Management of general consumption of energy and the used performance on the industries in a distribution chain (i.e. switch positions)
- Control of space usage in relation to existence of rack space and the area
- Supervision of availability of ports of switches for all network
- Direct potential of data processing for accomplishment of equipment installation by the staff of DPC
- Balance of providing resources of infrastructure for business meeting requirements
- Tracking critical use of infrastructure of DPC and indicators during time
- To beforehand provide future work planning of a data processing center
