FC Medargo, Ltd company (Deductor)

Task

After the solution of the main problems trade and accounting in Medargo company the problem of improvement of an analytical component of a corporate system and first of all for the solution of such questions as the analytical reporting, calculation of economic indicators, activity control, forecasting and optimization of warehouse stocks became relevant.

As in practice the list of business challenges constantly extends, there was a need for the choice of the analytical tool which would easily be integrated with the accounting system existing in the company and allowed to solve, first, the current problems of the analysis, and, secondly, had flexible mechanisms for the solution of again arising business challenges.

Solution

For the solution of an assigned task as an analytical system the Deductor platform was selected. The developed mechanisms of import/export and the built-in support of Oracle DBMS allowed to integrate easily Deductor with the accounting system used in the company Pharmsklad.

As a result of it within the implemented project the following tasks were solved:

• Operational multidimensional data analysis. Data directly from the accounting system and the consolidated information from the data warehouse are analyzed.
• Sales forecasting. Data on expected sales volume and also a big set of the auxiliary information necessary for acceptance of the final decision are provided to the employee making decisions.
• Calculation and analysis of economic indicators.
• The solution based on Deductor in the company

The most part of such transactions in a system as data loading, creation of the forecast, accomplishment of difficult calculations is executed in the automatic mode. The end user works with already created selections, but at the same time has an opportunity to customize the display by the most convenient for it by method.

On the basis of the received sales forecasts after verification of the received digits by the employee of purchasing department the economic order quantity taking into account expiration dates, stock balance, the safety stock and time necessary on the goods delivery is calculated.

The started system allowed to solve a considerable part of the current analytical problems: deliver the analysis on a regular basis, improve control, optimize business processes, but on it development of a system did not stop. The opportunities put in the Deductor platform allow to expand the list of solvable tasks constantly.

Thanks to the implemented mechanisms of consolidation and data processing it was succeeded to generalize necessary information both from third-party sources, and from the available accounting system. Especially It should be noted results on optimization of warehouse stocks that undoubtedly influenced achievement of economic effects......
