2025: Implementation of MTS Link

MTS Link transferred communications of the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district administration to its services. The platform for remote planning and meetings from MTS will allow you to get in touch with the heads of remote Arctic settlements, improve the organization of work processes and speed up the solution of social problems of the region. MTS Link announced this on February 21, 2025.

The MTS Link platform will allow you to simultaneously connect up to 200 people to the online meeting. A feature of the digital solution is to maintain a stable connection even at low network speed, which is important for holding remote meetings in Taimyr. Since the area is located in the Arctic zone, they are forced to use satellite communication to solve work issues, the capabilities of which may not be enough for some online communications services. With MTS Link, important issues of local governments will be able to remotely discuss and resolve on time without additional financial burden on the budget to ensure complex northern logistics.

Automatic decoding of the audio recording of each online meeting with a brief summary of key points is available to MTS Link users. Previously, the protocol of each meeting was manually drawn up by the secretary of the administration, and now the automatic results of the event are created by an assistant based on artificial intelligence. There is no need to also revise the video recordings of meetings - the necessary information can be found directly in the decryption and immediately go to the appropriate moment of the video.

The experience of the administration of the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district illustrates the thesis that online communications help to solve the problem of geographical inequality and personnel hunger in hard-to-reach regions. We are pleased that users assessed not only the stability of MTS Link communication, but also functions based on artificial intelligence aimed at increasing the efficiency of work processes and saving time. We hope that our decision will improve the interaction between local government bodies in Taimyr, as well as provide decent support for the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the Arctic, - said Alexander Chernyshev, head of work with MTS Link state authorities.
