2025: Product Announcement

On February 18, 2025, the American company Dzyne Technologies introduced the Dronebuster DTIM wearable military kit (Detect, Track, Identify, Mitigate), designed to combat unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The solution is made in the form of a vest weighing less than 4 kg.

The kit consists of two main components: the Dronebuster drone countermeasures system and the DTI device, which provides a comprehensive approach to UAV detection, identification and tracking. The antenna unit detects drones at a distance of up to 7 kilometers in a wide frequency range - from 400 MHz to 6 GHz. At the same time, DTI uses omnidirectional antennas, so that the soldier can freely move and occupy any position.

The system notifies the operator of detected drones using sound, tactile and visual feedback in real time. The data is displayed on the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) or on the built-in display. With AI and machine learning algorithms, the complex quickly and accurately identifies drones without requiring any additional action, allowing soldiers to focus on their mission.

Dronebuster DTIM uses radio frequency direction finding to determine the coordinates of the target without having to rotate 360 degrees. Tracking is performed using Remote ID and AeroScope technologies. To counter drones, electronic warfare means are used - suppression of navigation signals of global satellite systems (GNSS). The complex is compatible with various external accessories, such as headsets, which provides additional capabilities when used in the field.[1]
