The General Contractor JSC "MSU-1" plans to increase the volume of implementation of the DLP system "SearchInform CIB" in order to strengthen the counteraction to internal threats and increase the productivity of personnel. SearchInform announced this on February 27, 2025. The company has been using the solution since September 2021.

The main task of the system is to ensure the protection of information of JSC MSU-1, and timely identify information security events that can lead to leakage of personal data and documents including commercial secrets.

CIB offers all necessary tools to identify and prevent information security violations. The system copes well with tasks both at the network and PC levels, has an understandable interface of all components and is easy to administer. In addition, CIB controls all popular data channels and works stably, so we decided to increase the volume of implementation, - comments Roman Gostevskikh, head of the information security department of MSU-1 JSC.

The company also notes that the implemented DLP system "SearchInform CIB" not only simplified the work of the information security department, but also made it possible to conduct investigations of information security incidents more thoroughly.

Previously, I had to do all the work manually, on the fact of the incident. And after the introduction, it became possible to act ahead of the curve. So, with the help of CIB, we managed to identify several incidents. One of the employees used ON to take screenshots taken from the open spaces. Internet Analysis of data in CIB showed that the software sends the created screenshots in the form of attachments by mail to its own by servers protocol. As SMTP a result, the software was blocked and employees instructed. Leaks of critical data were avoided, since we promptly reacted to the incident, - said Roman Gostevskikh.

SearchInform CIB implements smart content locks for all control channels - users will not be able to transfer files or messages with confidential content. Flexible system settings do not disrupt business processes. The interface on the agent will warn the user about an accidental violation and help to learn information security rules.
