The SKB Kontur product company is the specialized telecom operator, largest in Russia, in the field of the protected document flow. The enterprise provides delivery of tax, pension, statistical and other statements in regulatory authorities on the Internet in all regions of the country.

The Management of Regional Development (MRD) of the enterprise consists of highly qualified specialists, analysts and top managers. Tasks of address work with regions, control of the service centers, development of behavior models of firm in each region are assigned to management.

Project Objective

Before URR there are regularly tasks requiring summary indicators from several databases. The majority of such data to department is provided by technical support service in the form of tables and charts of Excel. Requests the department every time unique, has no uniform standard, there is only a list of indicators which are often used in reports.

The separate problem aggravating a situation is the large volume of accumulated information which is stored in tens of databases on different physical servers, its selection and processing all is given to department of technical support more difficult, and check of result becomes objectively difficult action for URR.

Thus, it is possible to select two tasks which were set in the course of project implementation:

Systematization and consolidation of data. All controlled indicators which are regularly involved at creation of reports and forecasts should be collected in one place and to be on-line accessible.

Problem of process automation of processing and data analysis. The constructed system should improve the applied methods of processing and the analysis, to give the chance to the staff of department to manipulate with data in a set of cuts in language clear to them. Solution

Based on the software package Deductor the LLC NPP Izhinformproyekt company developed the system which allowed to solve the tasks set above.

Scientific and Production Enterprise Izhinformproyekt LLC works at the market of information technologies since 1992 and offers a wide complex of the methods, products and services necessary for control automation at the enterprises. In a type of the fact that the volume of the processed information is more than 35 million records, and the number of new data annually increases by 1.5-2 times, data loading is implemented in several steps, with multilevel cleaning and preprocessing.

An analytical system is distributed on several physical servers. The first server is engaged in collection of information from a set of databases, primary data scrubbing and calculation of arrays of updating. New data arrays join in processing on the second server then relevant data warehouses are copied on the third server on which users work.

Result

The implemented system allows analysts of department of URR to obtain information from different data sources provided to a uniform format. In a system more than 80 report forms are prepared, each of which was approved with users of a system. Time for creation of some reports was reduced from several days (at a traditional method of creation) to several minutes, at worst – till one-two o'clock.

Parallel operation of a system on three servers, the thought-over calculation of arrays of updates and clear structures of data warehouses allowed to reach three-day relevance of data, at the same time all necessary indicators on registration of clients, submission of reports to regulatory authorities, work of certification center, conducting accounting and remuneration of agents are considered.
