2025: Introduction of Digital Assistants
TSEMROS, together with GlowByte, introduced digital assistants in 2024 at a number of enterprises in the group. The program of projects included not only systems that have become familiar for managing cement grinding - they were introduced at the Serebryansky and Achinsky cement plants, but also testing a comprehensive solution to optimize the technical process of clinker training - the "Digital Assistant for Clinker Training" in the Voronezh branch. GlowByte announced this on March 6, 2025.
The digital clinker training assistant combines the raw material mixture management (grinding and drying) recommendation modules and the clinker kiln control module. The solution allows you to stabilize the properties of the raw material for its more efficient treatment in the furnace - according to the key chemical parameters of the starting material, it was possible to reduce fluctuations to 35%. In addition, during the pilot operation, the roasting control assistant module demonstrated both an increase in energy efficiency from 1.8% (in the winter season) to 2.3% (calculated on average for the year), and the ability to ensure the application of new technological conditions during re-engineering of the process.
The digital assistant is an intelligent system that analyzes sensor data, laboratory test results in real time and provides the operator with recommendations for optimal process control. The calculations are carried out using machine learning methods, predictive analytics and expert knowledge accumulated by the technologists of the CEMROS holding. This approach provides accurate control of the raw material firing and grinding processes, which improves production efficiency while maintaining the required clinker quality.
The solution is a domestic product using open source components - based on the own developments of GlowByte and the expertise of the technologists of the CEMROS holding.
