2025: DIN Electric Power Facilities Management Platform Implementation Plan
The DIN electric power facilities management platform developed by Rosatom Automated Control Systems JSC (RASU JSC, the managing company of the APCS and Electrical Engineering division of Rosatom State Corporation) will be introduced into the management system of the Karmalinovskaya Wind Power Plant (Karmalinovskaya Wind Power Plant), which is part of VetroOGK JSC (Rosatom Renewable Energy Division ). The Association of KP VET announced this on March 6, 2025.
The key part of the platform is PAC "Cluster," a solution for the protection and control of electrical installations of voltage class 6-750 kV. This is a project implemented using technology in accordance with 4 + architecture standards, which will now gain reference in the field of automation of renewable energy sources (RES). The complex is equipped with a patented technology of functional-dynamic architecture (FDA) of redundancy, which allows you to combine the RPA and AP systems, APCS and AIIS KUE in one PAC, redistribute functions from failed computing units to serviceable ones in 1-2 seconds without human participation. Such a solution provides a high level of reliability and stability of the system, reduces operating costs and allows you to move to the concept of "deserted" maintenance of secondary systems due to the controlled degradation of equipment provided by PDA technology.
In addition to the "Cluster" itself, a flexible SCADA-R platform will be introduced into the wind farm control system, which will systematize and demonstrate equipment performance indicators, and a special module for the cathedral of indicators from current and voltage transformers and convert them into a "digital."
The cluster architecture of the complex meets both the latest trends and the current market requirements for digitalization of the management of energy facilities. Clustering secondary systems is a real way to reduce the number of equipment and reduce the cost of the hardware of control systems, which is extremely important for such renewable and green power facilities as wind farms, "said Evgeny Dorofeev, Managing Director for Information Security and Trusted Digital Solutions of RASU JSC. |
Rosatom consistently continues to deepen the degree of localization of wind power plants and is actively working to expand the presence of Russian companies in the supply chain, being a kind of trigger for the development of new technologies. This contributes not only to the development of competencies in the field of wind energy, - said Grigory Nazarov, Director General of Rosatom Renewable Energy JSC. |
After the positive completion of pilot operation (PED), the solution is expected to be replicated at all newly built wind farms, which corresponds to the strategy of Rosatom Renewable Energy Division for the development of alternative generation based on renewable sources, as well as the strategy of introducing advanced digital technologies.
