2025: Kaspersky Container Security Implementation
ICD (Credit Bank of Moscow) implemented the Kaspersky Container Security solution as part of its import substitution strategy, ensuring an increase in the level of security of container development of applications and their protection against cyber threats at all stages of operation. This solution allows the bank to more reliably protect its digital products and user data. Kaspersky announced this on March 10, 2025.
In the context of rapid digitalization, ICD is actively using containerization technologies. To ensure security in this area, the bank tested several Russian solutions and chose Kaspersky Container Security, which fully meets its requirements and supports the DevSecOps principle, which is necessary for the secure development and operation of software.
Financial data our customers require maximum protection, and therefore we use only proven solutions. Testing Kaspersky Container Security has confirmed its high effectiveness in ensuring the security of containerization and integration into our processes, "said the Vyacheslav Kasimov director information security of the ICD department. |
Kaspersky Container Security provides comprehensive protection of key elements of container environments throughout their lifecycle. Among its main possibilities are:
- Integration with image registries, CI/CD platforms and security systems, use of an open API.
- Behavioral analysis of containers, identification and prevention of illegitimate activities.
- Automatic inventory of resources with visualization of network interaction and associated risks.
- Checking containers for compliance with regulatory requirements using vulnerability databases such as LC remote control, FSTEC remote control and NIST.
The solution helps to create a convenient and safe environment for the development and operation of container applications, helps to comply with industry standards and minimize risks.
Particular attention was paid to the integration process to check the images before they are deployed and launched. This allowed not only to increase the level of safety of development, but also to minimize possible threats at all stages of operation. The peculiarity of the functionality of the solution, including Runtime protection and support for integration with popular registries (Harbor, Nexus, GitLab), has become a key factor in its selection.
The popularity of containerization technologies requires specialized means of protection. Kaspersky Container Security helps companies focus on product development, automate routine processes, and provide security. This is an important element of the business solutions platform that meets modern challenges, "said Marina Usova, head of corporate sales at Kaspersky Lab. |
