Sitronics Group helped automate accounting, management and address storage in Svedsty warehouse

2025: Warehouse Logistics Business Process Analysis

Sitronics Group specialists analyzed the business processes of Svedsta LLC in the field of warehouse logistics, modified and adapted the operational and management accounting system on the basis of 1C: Trade Management 8. The implementation of the project made it possible to speed up the process of searching and picking orders, as well as optimize the use of warehouse space. Sitronics announced this on March 11, 2025.

As part of the project, the developers of the IT company have automated key processes that affect the efficiency of warehouse space use, speed up work with the warehouse, reduce personnel errors and increase warehouse inventory control.

To do this, Sitronics Group specialists analyzed the main warehouse operations (acceptance, movement, shipment, make-up, inventory) of a trading enterprise, as well as the functions of personnel that ensure the acceptance, accounting and shipment of inventory, the formation and packaging of goods and much more. So it was decided to modify the existing system of operational and management accounting "1C: Trade Management 8" in terms of the processes of address storage and automation of main warehouse operations using a data collection terminal (shipping documentation).

Sitronics Group ERP systems specialists set up workplaces for warehouse employees, developed mechanisms for automatic placement of goods for the specifics of the size of packages and goods, and feeding cells for storing products. A special software solution for warehouse operations at the data collection terminal was also developed and integrated with the management accounting system.

Our task was to implement a solution that fully meets the needs of the client. The implementation of the systems made it possible to track the movement of each unit of goods in the warehouse, optimize the use of storage spaces and speed up the picking of orders. In addition, Sitronics Group specialists have automated targeted report forms, which allows the management of Svedsta LLC to receive analytics for making management decisions, "said Andrey Ermakov, executive director of the Sitronics Group consulting directorate.
