In Vodka Artel of YAT group the implementation project of the solution Lawson e-Sales for sales management of distributors started. The project is implemented by Business Solutions Consulting company.

Choosing a Solution

Three systems were considered. As a result a choice was made for benefit of the Lawson e-Sales system and BSC company.

"The Lawson e-Sales system was for us the most transparent and clear. The fact that the solution is implemented based on Internet technologies is also essential - it will provide remote access to the system of all distributors, plus distributors it will not be required to set from itself any specialized software - all information will be stored on a centralized basis on our platform. All these features of the system of Lawson e-Sales considerably simplify project organization", - Maria Fedotova, the head of marketing of "Vodka Artel of YAT" comments.

Plans and types

During a pilot project which end is planned for March, 2011 specialists of BSC and "Vodka Artel of YAT" will connect the limited list of distributors to the Lawson e-Sales system and will provide daily collecting of managerial data: arrivals on warehouses of distributors, a remaining balance in warehouses of distributors, sales of distributors in outlets (sale-out).

All information will gather in a detailed type (by SKU, warehouses, quantity, cost, the sales representative, outlet, No. of the document and so forth) and to be consolidated in the centralized Lawson e-Sales database. During consolidation reduction of data to the uniform codings used for the managerial analysis will be executed (SKU, outlets, localities and so forth).

Also one of components of a pilot project is setup of the multidimensional management reporting based on OLAP technologies. As a result specialists of the company will be able independently to prepare the reporting under work of distributors: dynamics of change of the active customer base, a remaining balance in warehouses of distributors, sales in outlets, for needs of marketing department of "Vodka Artel of YAT" will be implemented a possibility of efficiency analysis of marketing actions by sales of outlets (the accepting held events which are taking part in) and many other things.

On project deliverables "the Vodka Artel of YAT" assumes to implement model of high-quality distribution for increase in secondary sales.
