That is why the basic stage of migration is scheduled for the night from Friday to Saturday, when customer activity is minimal. The bank's management assures that the services will be restored on Saturday morning without noticeable interruptions for customers.

Sergey Simonenko, Information Technology Director of OTP Bank, noted that "the transition to a modern technology stack (PostgreSQL, Java and Kafka) will ensure the reliability, fault tolerance, scalability and security of card processing.
