2025: Purchase of servers and security software for ₽340,6 million
The volume of purchases of server equipment and security software for the needs of Rosreestr in 2025 will amount to ₽340,6 million. The Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography will direct these funds to modernize its information systems and strengthen protection against possible cyber attacks. Information on the relevant tender was published in early April 2025.
According to CNews, the tender was published on the public procurement website on March 28, 2025. The selection of the supplier will be held in the format of an electronic auction. Applications for participation in the competition will be accepted until April 14, and the winner is planned to be determined on April 16.
Within the framework of the project, Rosreestr plans to modernize the Departmental Center for Information Security Incident Management (VTSUIIB). The main goals are to reduce the "attack surface" - possible ways of unauthorized entry into the information system - and ensure data confidentiality in the government information systems of the department.
According to the terms of reference, Rosreestr intends to purchase four types of servers and licenses for specialized software. The equipment is designed to deploy network traffic analysis subsystems, protect against targeted attacks, monitor information security events and automatically respond to threats.
The project implementation is divided into two stages: by August 1, 2025, equipment and licenses will be delivered, and by November 5, 2025, it is planned to complete commissioning, adaptation of documentation and testing of the system.
Each of the purchased servers must be equipped with at least two 26-core processors with a clock frequency of two GHz. Servers differ in the amount of RAM and the type of drives - SSD or HDD.
An analysis of previous purchases of Rosreestr for the All-Russian Central Executive Committee for 2023 and 2024 shows that the department acquired servers manufactured by Yadro. It is possible that this practice will continue in the current tender.[1]
