2025: RockITNet Presentation

K2 Tekh on April 14, 2025 announced the launch of RockITNet, a Russian solution for regular automatic audit of network infrastructure. The system automatically scans and collects network equipment data and helps troubleshoot problems. The solution is aimed at medium and large companies with more than 100 network devices in the infrastructure.

Most companies have a heterogeneous network structure that combines the solutions of several vendors with a different approach to configuration and operation. This infrastructure is difficult to manage, maintain hardware and software settings, and respond quickly to incidents. In addition, the "manual" operation of the network, which is common in many companies, often leads to data loss.

In response to these problems, K2Tex developed RockITNet, a network infrastructure management system. The solution is designed for regular automatic audit of the network infrastructure, generating reports on the state of the equipment and managing its configurations. The system automatically scans and collects data on network equipment, analyzes the status of protocols, port capacity, IP addresses, VLANs, software versions, checks configurations for compliance with information security standards.

The system consists of several modules that can be used and configured depending on the needs of the company: event monitoring, configuration management, device inventory, IP address management, device initialization (ZTP), network equipment status, as well as a display and interaction module that visualizes parameters and combines the rest of the modules.

We do many projects on the network infrastructure of large companies and see typical problems that customers face. Still many manage the network manually, use Excel to store data, do not pay attention to the issues of network hardening, which often leads to the loss of information about the network and the company's dependence on the human factor. RockITNet automates these processes and simplifies the operation of the multi-tender network, ensures its stable predictable operation and helps minimize the risks of network incidents. In fact, the customer receives a "digital cast of the network," independent of humans, - said Alexander Blednykh, an expert on network solutions at K2Teh.
