Project implementation on creation of the information management system production (MES) at the Minsk tractor plant

In 2007 the SITEK Group company, Department of implementation of MES and APS systems, implemented the project on creation of the information management system production for section of complete machining of the body of the transmission of the Minsk Tractor Plant (MTP) (Minsk, Republic of Belarus).
As the general contractor of creation of production capacities for this section the RIKO company acted. Project implementation became possible thanks to equipment of all deliverable machines management systems of Sinumerik of SIEMENS company. The panel of OP012 operator with the TFT display and the PCU50 processor with the built-in Ethernet port was a part of each management system.
The SITEK Group company provided creation of information infrastructure of the project according to the Ethernet TCP/IP standard. The network included cables of the F/UTP standard and optical cables.
Within project implementation creation of the following subsystems was provided:
1. The management subsystem is implemented by programs and data of the CNC based on the software of DNC of Siemens company and includes the client software set on Sinumerik, and a server part of the software which equips the computer of the technologist of the programmer. The subsystem provides storage of versions of programs and data of the CNC for production of different parts, and also availability of these data to operators of machines.
2. Management subsystem data of the tool. This subsystem was also created on client-server technology on the basis of the software of TDI of Siemens company. Except Sinumerik, with a client part of the software, and a workplace of the house keeper of the tool, with a server part of the software, the station of preparation of the tool is integrated into a subsystem. Connection of the station allowed to perform measurement of parameters of the tool and to prepare files of proofreaders of this tool for loading on network in Sinumerik. The subsystem allows to control parameters and the number of the tool which is on machines and in storage locations, to plan the necessary number of the tool taking into account works orders and residual firmness of the tool.
3. The subsystem of support of maintenance is created based on the software of TPM of Siemens company. It has a server part on the computer of a workplace of the manager and the client software on Sinumerik. This subsystem provides control of accomplishment of the planned works on service maintenance of machines, and also access to instructions and schemes of carrying out these works directly from panels of operators of machines.
4. A subsystem of collecting and information analysis about operation of machines. The program architecture of this subsystem is provided by the client-server solution based on the software of MDA of Siemens company. The client software is set on Sinumerik, a server part is installed on the computer of the manager. The subsystem controls how many and in what time it is made products what violations in operation of machines and time of their emergence were. On the basis of collected information indicators of availability, efficiency of use of machines, and also complex indicator of OEE form.
In implementation process of the project by specialists of SITEK Group, Department of implementation of MES and APS systems, completion of the basic (OEM) software of machines for ensuring fulfillment of requirements MTP (Minsk Tractor Plant) was executed. The positive result of implementation of this system to be an example of effective cooperation of the European machine tool builder and the local engineering company when implementing the difficult complex project.
