2025: Transition under the management of Arkady Rotenberg

In mid-April 2025, the Arka Hotel hotel complex, located in the central part of Rostov-on-Don, came under the control of the Vizant group, whose management company is Visant Group LLC. The new operator of the facility was a structure owned by Russian businessman Arkady Rotenberg. Information on the transfer of control became publicly available in April 2025.

According to RBC, information about the change of the management company is confirmed by Rosreestr data and comments by representatives of the parties to the proposed transaction. According to the publication with reference to "City N," until recently the hotel was put up for sale on one of the popular online trading platforms for ₽1,35 billion.

The area of ​ ​ the hotel complex is 5.1 thousand square meters. m. The hotel has 69 rooms, two restaurants and three conference rooms. Before the change of ownership, the object was managed by the metropolitan company Ginza Project. Vizant is expected to own the new asset on its own.

Arki construction investor Yevgeny Karkushyan and Visant Group commercial director Denis Logachev refrained from commenting on the deal. The cost of building the complex itself, which was opened in September 2019, amounted to ₽1 billion.

According to "City N," the investor of the project was the Rostov holding "KM-Soyuz," which was managed by the Ginza Project. The general director of the latter, according to the SPARK-Interfax information system, is Evgeny Karkushyan.

The management of the Vizant group currently has five former sanatoriums in Crimea, which local authorities sold at auction in 2018. In December 2024, it became known that Arkady Rotenberg plans to invest over ₽15 billion in hotels on the territory of the former Zhemchuzhina sanatorium, located near the Swallow's Nest castle in Yalta.^[1]
