2025: Moving 1C Infrastructure to the Cloud

K2 Tekh has completed a project to migrate 1C "A-Vostok" infrastructure to the K2 Cloud. Despite the geographical distribution of the company, the migration process took 20 days, and the key results of the project were to improve the performance and scalability of 1C systems in the organization. K2 Tekh announced this on April 16, 2025.

The poor performance of 1C applications caused constant complaints from users. In addition, there were difficulties with scaling, which was critical in the conditions of the planned doubling of the number of users from 160 to 300. The lack of IT resources also complicated the process of fast system recovery in case of failures, which is critical for working in 24/7 mode. Having studied all the requirements, A-Vostok management decided to urgently migrate infrastructure and 1C applications to the cloud.

We were looking for a partner who could provide not only technological expertise, but also efficiency in solving the tasks. When choosing an external cloud service provider, we paid special attention to indicators of availability, performance and bandwidth of communication channels in the cloud. We work in different time zones, which means the system should be available 24/7. For us, it was critical to maintain the cloud in a way that was imperceptible and did not affect the company's infrastructure. As a result, the choice of K2 Cloud as a partner became for us the solution of all the tasks set. We are determined for long-term cooperation, - commented Evgeny Preobrazhensky, senior system administrator of A-Vostok.

Within 20 days, K2 Cloud specialists (K2Tex division) carried out a set of measures to migrate the system. As part of the project, a cloud infrastructure (IaaS) was deployed. The Strict Service Level Agreement (SLA ) defines system availability at the 99.95% level, and the response rate to user requests is now less than 15 minutes. Access to 1C through web and thin clients was also organized.

K2 Cloud is not only a cloud provider, but also a reliable technology partner. Having significant expertise - we have implemented several dozen projects related to the 1C infrastructure - we can confidently carry out the transfer of 1C systems to the K2 Cloud. The company's specialists provide prompt seamless migration of even complex infrastructure solutions without loss of data and quality, "commented Angelica Zakharova, K2 Cloud Cloud Project Manager.

After the migration, A-Vostok noted a significant improvement in the performance of the 1C system. The number of user complaints about the system's response has dropped sharply, which has become an important metric for the success of the project. The implementation of strict SLA allowed the customer to be confident in the high availability of the infrastructure and prompt solution of problems, which reduced the burden on the company's own IT resources.
