2025: Appointment as the head of the network of clinics "Catherine "

On April 16, 2025, it became known that the co-founder and general director of the private medical network "Clinic Catherine" Vitaly Volkov left his post. The new head of the organization was its chief physician Karen Mumjian.

Volkov has been acting general director of the Catherine Clinic since August 2018. After leaving this position, he retained a stake in Clinic Yekaterininskaya LLC in the amount of 51% - 50% personally and 1% through Medinvest LLC controlled by him. Among the other founders are OOO ORC Kirov and Alexey Prokopenko.

Mumjian graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Kuban State Medical Academy. In 1999, he completed an internship in the specialty "Surgery" on the basis of the municipal polyclinic No. 10, and then mastered additional professional education in the specialty "Urology." His professional activities in the "Clinic Catherine" began from the moment of its opening - February 12, 2007. With his participation in 2010-2014, two branches of the medical organization were launched. Since May 2020, Mumjyan has been the head physician of the network. In December 2024 he received the title "Honored Health Worker of the Krasnodar Territory."

"Clinic Catherine," as stated on its website, provides medical care to adults and children from the first days of life. Multidisciplinary centers present all the main types of instrumental diagnostics: MRI, CT, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound, endoscopic examinations - gastro- and colonoscopy "in sleep," ECG and others. In addition, since 2018, the medical institution has its own laboratory, which participates in the British quality control system RIQAS. It conducts thousands of laboratory tests around the clock, and many of them are available in CITO mode.^[1]
