Kapsch TrafficCom is the international supplier of the high-quality intelligent transport systems (ITS). Primary activity of the company is development and delivery of the systems of electronic collection of a fare (ETC), in particular for the multiband free movement (MLFF) and also technical and commercial control by these systems. Kapsch TrafficCom also delivers management systems for traffic in which center of attention there are road security, control of traffic and also the systems of electronic access and management of parkings. Having more than 260 executed projects in 40 countries on all 5 continents, 40 million onboard devices and about 17,000 equipped bands, Kapsch TrafficCom positions itself as the leading world supplier of UTS systems. The company is distinguished from others by more than twenty-year experience with specialization on telematic services of traffic; about 250 implemented projects – the systems of collection of a fare, solutions for control of traffic in the cities, intelligent transport systems and telematic solutions, in the field of service and sales in 41 countries of the world, on all five continents. Completely automated solution for identification of journey on an inhibit signal of the traffic light, control of lane of the movement and the high-speed mode in Kazan is completely integrated with the local system of law enforcement agencies that will allow to write out penalties to violators in completely automated mode.

2012

Financial year begins on April 1, 2012 and comes to the end on March 31, 2013. Revenue of Group made 928 million euros that became the second record level in the history of the company. In comparison with a last year's indicator (984.1 million euros in 2011/12 financial year) decrease in revenue was recorded (for 6%). The division of the Kapsch TrafficCom group whose shares are traded on the stock exchange, provided 53% of all revenue of Group; 20%, and on Kapsch BusinessCom share – 32% of turnover of Group fell to the share of Kapsch CarrierCom.

Kapsch recorded increase in revenue in the domestic Austrian market (29% of all revenue of Group fall to its share) and also in the American market (17%). 37% of revenue of Group are the share of a market share of Central and Eastern Europe, thus, this region still generates the maximum share of revenue of Kapsch. The profit of the company before assignments on interest payment, taxes, wear and depreciation (EBITDA) was 58.4 million euros, and the earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) are locked at the level of 25.5 million euros. At the same time the number of employees increased by 9% and totals 5266 people - it is the maximum digit from the moment of foundation of the company in 1892. Expenses on researches and development increased by 14% and made 96.6 million euros.
