"Kapsh Traffikkom" - the first project in Russia

The Kapsch TrafficCom subsidiary company received the order from administration Kazan on the equipment of road intersections completely automatic applications on identification of journey on an inhibit signal of the traffic light, to control of lane of the movement and the high-speed mode. A system will be integrated with the local system of traffic police and control of violators of traffic regulations will be exercised in completely automatic mode. The cost of the contract does not reveal, however it is estimated at several tens of million rubles. Obtaining the order for technical control is soon planned by a system. ^[1]

"Even rather small contract amount can serve as an incentive of successful development Kapsch TrafficCom in very perspective market and to strengthening of our positions when using the large investments into traffic safety and observation systems expected in Russia in the near future", - Weber Michael, the CEO of Kapsch TrafficCom LLC said.

So far Kapsch TrafficCom implemented more than 260 projects in 40 countries of the world, delivered 40 million onboard devices and equipped about 17,000 bands.
