Microsoft Chem4Word - A product which will help scientists, to students and teachers of universities to use Microsoft Office applications in the daily work more productively. In addition to earlier released product Microsoft Mathematics Add-In for Word, users received one more useful module under the name Chemistry Add-in for Word (Chem4Word). The application compatible to new versions of Word 2007 and Word 2010 was created by Microsoft Research developers in close cooperation with scientists from the Cambridge university. Thanks to Chemistry Add-in for Word authors of scientific works, articles and publications will be able to insert into the edited documents labels and also descriptions and even two-dimensional displays of formulas of different degree of complexity. Such opportunity is provided by support of a markup language of Chemical Markup Language, an analog of XML developed taking into account specific needs of scientists-chemists.
