Management system for fixed assets and equipment maintenance in Height 239 workshop of ChTZ

Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant, IBM corporation and EAM Sistemz company started implementation in pipe electric welding workshop "Height 239" of the joint project on creation of the automated control system for fixed assets, maintenance and repairs on the platform of the product IBM Maximo Asset Management.

One of important properties of a management system of a MRO - ability to integrate with other enterprise information systems, for example, ERP- and MES systems, a business and management accounting system, etc. The integration of the MRO and ERP systems which is carried out jointly by specialists of Height 239 and EAM Sistemz workshop will allow to increase control of procurement processes (signing of the contracts, electronic order placement, control over expenses), will provide competent regulation of a reserve of spare parts. The integrated system simplifies viewing schedules for the purpose of determination of optimal time of shutdown of the equipment, for example, on preventive maintenance, facilitates time management of idle time of units at efficiency analysis of a supply chain and its influence on quality and accomplishment of orders.

As V.A. Horev noted, the technical director of ChTPZ, "implementation of the innovation management system for fixed assets, maintenance and repairs will allow Height 239 workshop to use more effectively production assets, will lead to cutting of costs for maintenance and repair."
