2025: Inter RAO IT Insourcer, introducing 1C, increased revenue by 28% in 2025
As discovered by TAdviser, one of the insourced IT companies Inter RAO, Inter RAO - Digital Solutions, which specializes in the development, implementation and maintenance of applied information systems for the entire group, by the end of 2025, increased turnover - by 28%, to 1.8 billion rubles.
The overwhelming part of the revenue, about 1.6 billion rubles, was received from services for adapting, configuring and maintaining IT programs, follows from the explanations for the annual accounting of the company, published in the database of the Federal Tax Service.
Judging by the vacancies opened at Inter RAO - Digital Solutions as of mid-March 2026, the company is actively involved in projects related to the development, implementation and maintenance of 1C-based solutions. For example, one of the current projects is the development of an architecture for an information system for managing investment planning based on "1C," and we are talking about an atypical, proprietary configuration[1]
Some time ago, Inter RAO was focused on SAP. In 2017, with a German vendor, she even created a joint legal entity - Inter RAO - Platform, aimed at creating new software solutions. At the same time, back in 2018, this initiative was recognized as unsuccessful[2], and at that time the company was already actively developing solutions based on 1C[3]now, as of mid-March 2026, as TAdviser noted, Inter RAO Platform is in liquidation.
Another IT company, Inter RAO - IT, specializing in IT services for the Inter RAO group, in 2025 received revenue 11% lower than a year earlier - about 5.1 billion rubles.
The vast majority of this amount, about 3.4 billion rubles, was received from services for adapting, configuring and maintaining IT programs. About 853 million rubles Inter RAO - IT earned on the provision of information security services; She raised almost 319 million rubles from "other IT services."
At the time of publication of the material, Inter RAO - IT could not explain to TAdviser the dynamics of the turnover of its insourced IT companies.
Digital Transformation Costs
2024

Such data are provided in the draft annual report/report on activities in the field of sustainable development of Inter RAO, published on its website at the end of April, discovered TAdviser.
Digitalization is one of the key directions of the development strategy of the energy holding InterRAO. It is aimed at optimizing and transforming key business processes in the field of production asset and fund management, energy sales activities, trading, offering new digital services, as well as increasing the level of information security.
The published document provides data that in 2024, Inter RAO increased the share of digital transformation measures implemented using artificial intelligence to 10.7%.
In addition to projects completed in 2024, the annual report also cites current projects in the field of digitalization.
It also states that the group's investments in domestic IT solutions in 2024 increased to 18.9 billion rubles. This is 41% more than in 2023.
On the basis of its own laboratory at Inter RAO, testing of domestic IT solutions for organizing independent IT infrastructure and services continues. In 2024, more than 76 Russian IT solutions of various classes were tested, during the tests 26 positive conclusions of the laboratory for testing Russian hardware and software solutions were obtained, such as servers for high-criticality information systems, access switches, email protection systems, database administration systems and other components of the IT landscape, which, according to the results of the tests, are recommended for use in the group.
In addition, Inter RAO organized the management of foreign gas turbines and other control systems for stations and technological equipment by continuing to introduce its own domestic automated control system.
Full-scale work on import substitution continues: the transfer of workstations to domestic operating systems, the Russian office suite, the replacement of server operating systems and DBMS and other measures. For example, at the end of 2024, 100% of EDO systems, 100% of antivirus protection tools, more than 80% of DBMS were transferred to domestic solutions. Targeted work continues to transfer workstations, laptops, servers, telephony, as well as network equipment to the use of mainly Russian solutions.
