2025: Delivery of MDV air conditioning systems
AYAK Group delivered MDV air conditioning systems for Ozon warehouses. Thanks to the introduction of energy-efficient climate solutions, the marketplace has reduced the cost of cooling more than 1,200,000 meters of ², which store more than 530 million goods and process more than 14.36 million orders daily. As part of the cooperation, the distributor of climate equipment has selected VRF systems for online retailer fulfillment centers in 10 cities of Russia, including Yekaterinburg, Samara, Blagoveshchensk, Orenburg, Nevinnomyssk, Novorossiysk, Adygeisk, as well as near the settlements of Tatarstan, Leningrad and Tver regions.
Against the backdrop of a rapid increase in electricity tariffs and a large-scale expansion of the warehouse network - in two years its area has more than tripled and exceeded 3.5 million square meters. m - Ozon pays significant attention to the engineering infrastructure of leased facilities, including climate solutions that can simultaneously maintain a stable microclimate and help reduce operating costs. A feature of the implementation of a large-scale project was not only the retailer's desire for energy efficiency of technologies, but their quality, which allows compliance with storage conditions in accordance with sanitary standards: from 16 to 24 ° C in the cold season and from 18 to 25 ° C in the warm period.
To achieve these goals, VRF systems of the V6 and V8 series MDVs were installed in the administrative and residential areas of the facilities. The equipment is characterized by a high speed of achieving temperature indicators, maintains them at the required level, adapts to variable load, ensuring the comfort of employees in premises with different purposes - from offices to recreation rooms. External blocks with lateral or vertical air emissions were placed along the facades and on the roofs, which made it possible to optimize the cost of installing communications. For uniform distribution of air, cassette internal units were used - a simple and practical solution in terms of operation.
For storage areas, MDV series VC Pro and VC Max inverter compressor and condenser units integrated with plenum and exhaust units were selected. These systems provide efficient cooling of the supply air. Thanks to inverter technology, the equipment flexibly responds to temperature fluctuations of the external environment and minimizes the number of on-off cycles, which increases the service life of the equipment and reduces power consumption.
An important feature of the warehouse configuration, which made it possible to significantly increase the efficiency of investments, was the choice of equipment engineers without the heating function, which is not required for storage facilities. This approach not only reduced the cost of purchasing it, but also improved the reliability of the system by simplifying the design. Another advantage of inverter technologies is their energy efficiency. MDV inverter compressor and condenser units allow Ozon to save up to 30% of electricity compared to traditional systems, providing cheaper cooling.
The number of orders of buyers and the turnover of local sellers in the Stavropol, Krasnodar Territories, the Republics of Adygea and Dagestan are increasing. To make delivery of goods for residents of these regions as convenient and fast as possible, and for sellers to reduce delivery costs, we are expanding the logistics infrastructure.
