Netgear Stora

The Netgear company, the world supplier of the innovative network solutions for home users, business and Internet service providers, announced in February, 2011 availability of the new software to Netgear Stora – budget network storage worth 3900 rub (in a complete set without disks).

Entered the list of the functions added in a new firmware: support of additional 10 languages, including Russian; an opportunity to download several files in ZIP archive (from the browser); the configured sorting for albums; inclusion / shutdown of remote access through settings; the improved functionality of work with mailings for access to content; torrent client (premium subscription); data backup (premium subscription). Besides, support of mobile access is included into standard delivery now, and the maximum number of users is increased from three to five, says Netgear.

In the whole Netgear Stora – this simple network memory device in use which has all necessary functions. Using Stora it is possible to store and protect music records, a photo and data and also to get the general access to them from any device in a home network and on the Internet, noted in Netgear. According to the company, for ensuring the increased reliability of storage Netgear Stora supports installation of the second disk which works as the mirror copy of the basic. It is possible to replace and add the hard drive in several minutes without use of a special tool. Stora is integrated with Facebook, iTunes, Flickr and the supporting web phones.
