2025: Product Announcement

In mid-May 2025, the Vansel company (OneCell), co-owned by the Azimut management company of the Rostec state corporation, launched the first domestic microdrug scanner OneCell Scan 3.0 into mass production. The new equipment is designed to quickly and accurately diagnose cancer. The presentation of the device took place at the XX All-Russian Forum "The Health of the Nation is the Basis of Russia's Prosperity ."

According to the press service of Rostec, the OneCell Scan 3.0 scanner is designed to digitize histological and cytological micropreparations in medical laboratories. The device determines the structure and number of affected cells, recognizing pathological tissue regardless of its size. The main task of the device is to convert analog glasses into digital twins with quality control through artificial intelligence.

The scanner is capable of working around the clock, simultaneously processing up to 288 glasses with biological material obtained from patients during biopsy or during surgery. The average scan time for a single drug is 2-3 minutes. The total increase in the optical system of the device reaches 63 krat, which fully meets the requirements of modern pathomorphology.

After digitizing the image, the device automatically sorts the samples, and the slide enters the database on the computer. The scanner is fully compatible with government-owned digital healthcare platforms, enabling integration with existing information systems.

The press service noted that the development of medical instrumentation and the creation of high-tech products is a priority area of the corporation. The new scanner is able to accurately recognize cancer cells, helping doctors make an accurate diagnosis in the shortest possible time. In terms of its characteristics, the device meets international standards in the field of digital pathomorphology and exceeds imported analogues at a price lower by 10-15%, which makes it possible to widely use it in cancer centers and medical and diagnostic laboratories.[1]
