The Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) company announced completion of the supplies of equipment and software executed within the project on system implementation of a GLONASS/GPS of monitoring and control of Avtotreker transport in Bukharakhlopkoprom company ("Buxoropaxtasanoat hududiy birlashmasi", Uzbekistan, Bukhara).
Bukharakhlopkoprom – the enterprise, largest in the CIS, for collecting and processing of cotton with an annual capacity of processings over 360 thousand tons. The transport park numbering more than five hundred machines is involved in transportation of raw materials and finished goods. Main objectives of creation of a corporate system of monitoring of transport are decrease in idle times of the vehicles (V), economy of fuel and lubricants and fight with different to abuses: fuel dump, escape additions, "left" runs. All these opportunities, including assessment of performance indicators, were shown to the customer in the summer of 2010 in actual practice by several lorries of the enterprise.
The project on creation of a corporate system of monitoring of transport started at the end of 2010. Now supplies of equipment are executed: 175 onboard Avtotreker blocks and 135 sensors of fuel. Creation of the dispatching center and transfer to the customer of technology of installation of equipment and connection of the CU to a monitoring system will become the next step. For this purpose in February of this year specialists of RNT will unroll the pilot zone including the full-function dispatching center and several CU and also will provide personnel training of the customer who will carry out further implementation. All these works are going to be completed in two months.
The corporate system of monitoring of transport will give to managers of Bukharakhlopkoprom convenient statistics on the performed flights, the number of the transported cotton weight, operating time, idle time, the movement with a load and empties. At the same time, along with fixed functions – planning of routes, display of location and movements of transport, accounting of fuel consumption, the notification of the manager about a deviation of the actual parameters of delivery from planned, identification of cases of inappropriate use, etc., – the dispatching center will provide data storage about the performed flights for the retrospective analysis and also preparation of reports with drawing data on cards. Besides, constant control behind actual state of the CU will reduce risks of emergency situations and will allow to react to them quickly. System implementation of monitoring will take two months and will allow the enterprise to cut down significantly transportation costs, to improve economic indicators of work of the transport park, to objectively estimate efficiency of machines.
Automation of accounting of weight of the transported cotton and transfer of this information in the dispatching center will become important feature of the project. For each run this indicator is calculated based on weighings of the car on special stationary scales, and for data transmission in office of the company monitoring system infrastructure will be used. Such solution not only increases efficiency and accuracy of accounting of the transported loads, but also allows to carry out the multiple factor analysis of fuel consumption connecting this indicator as with type and technical condition of the car, and with its actual loading.
