The company OCTRON system integrator VIANT and May 28, 2025 announced the completion of a project to implement an automatic inventory system based on UHF RFID technology in. Tretyakov Gallery

The VIANT companies were faced with the task of proposing and implementing a reliable solution that would allow the Russian museum and its branches to automate the inventory process of the property fund in the amount of more than 100,000 accounting objects, ensure traceability of the movement of fixed assets and full integration with the already installed 1C: BSU system.

For the implementation of the project, the software "Kleverens. Accounting with RFID "and manual UHF RFID readers Chainway C72.

To label office furniture and computer equipment, the Russian company Siltek has developed and produced two types of UHF RFID labels - for dielectric and metal surfaces.

The project was implemented in 14 days. To solve the tasks, some processes were partially or completely changed and the functionality in the 1C: BSU accounting system was improved.

Thus, an extension was developed for 1C for printing and encoding RFID marks without additional settings, intuitive layouts of printed forms that do not require further editing.

The main effect of the introduction of UHF RFID technology was a significant reduction in the time for inventory. The process of collecting data has been simplified, the accuracy of determining the location of objects has increased. The customer now has complete and reliable information about the quantity, placement and movement of fixed assets. Even at the marking stage, equipment with expired useful lives was identified, subject to write-off.
